ARE is driven by the energy and the experiences of young Black, Asian and mixed heritage young people. We know equality is a major concern for today’s youth. And it must remain so if we are to see a better tomorrow.
With this in mind, we offer opportunities for young people to get involved in our work, ensuring the voices and experiences of young Black, Asian and mixed heritage people are heard by policy and decision-makers in education and training, employment and criminal justice.
Work Experience
Action for Race Equality welcomes interest from young people aged 16 and over who would like to do work experience at the charity, and are able to come into our office in King’s Cross one – two days a week.
We offer placements supporting our work across education, employment, criminal justice which includes getting involved in communications, administrative and research activities.
