Coaching
With the pace and volume of work, leaders and aspiring leaders need a safe space for reflection. Specifically, with EEDIB in mind and often with strategic plans written up, this safe space allows for a space to think, reflect, pause and strategically decipher the what, why and how of implementation. Training and workshops
ARE training is designed and led by experienced facilitators using engaging, thought-provoking techniques to engender a process of behavioural change. The sessions are participatory and combine trainer/facilitator input, group discussions and group exercises to help ensure a comfortable, safe environment that respects confidentiality and differing views.
We believe training or workshops are a small part of a wider approach or strategy aiming to make systemic change and embed EEDIB as a core thread throughout the organisation.
We also appreciate and recognise that participants will have diverse learning styles for which we ensure a range of engagement techniques are used including handouts, quiz, video, discussion, exercises and reading lists to take away. Our workshops can be delivered online or in-person.
Listening sessions
Independent and confidential listening sessions for staff in any size of organisation are crucial for honest conversations that lead to genuine change.
ARE has facilitated one off and a series of short listening sessions for a range of organisations and companies, gauging what is working well, how staff are feeling, what are their experiences, all of which is feed back in a confidential way to help shape what needs to change. The sessions also give a sense of ownership as the space is created to give staff a chance to shape the future.
Listening sessions
ARE has experienced facilitators to design and host staff away days, strategy days and team building days that invigorate team dynamics, enhance collaboration, and foster a shared vision for the future.
Consultancy
As a critical friend, we help with a Full Culture Reset, i.e. guiding organisations through the process of cultural change. Defining, reviewing or realigning organisational vision, mission, purpose and values to a culture of inclusion and belonging and ensuring organisational values are reflected in culture and practices.
We help develop strategic plans, action plans and road maps that focus on activation, measuring and tracking progress.
We develop training content and resources to ensure staff are respected and valued and feel confident and knowledgeable about the language, concepts and tools to adopt inclusive behaviours in day-to-day operations.
Importantly, our approach will create a safe space for participants to question and discuss situations, behaviours, language and attitudes that impact inclusion in the workspace as well as tangible and practical tools and frameworks to interrupt negative bias, discrimination and micro-aggressions.
“I just wanted to send an email to say a big, big thank you to you both for yesterday’s training. Peju was genuinely outstanding and it went SO well – it was interactive, informative and just generally one of the best training I have ever attended. Big thank you to you too Tebussum for arranging this – truly appreciate it!”
Young Ealing Foundation
Our trainer, Tebusssum, opened up a space that was safe and intimate and as such that meant honest, productive conversations happened. Thank you so much!”
