ellisha@actionforraceequality.org.uk
Ellisha brings experience from both the charity and public sectors, with a focus on early intervention, violence reduction, and health. She is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.
She has led the development of a wide portfolio of programmes including those aimed at reducing disparities for children and young people disproportionately represented in the criminal justice system. Ellisha has developed funding opportunities to strengthen the capacity and sustainability of Black-led organisations and has worked at a strategic level to advance equity across health services, and improve local authorities multi-agency approaches to violence affecting young people.
She also serves as a Trustee for Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing, and Hounslow Mind, where she leads on coproduction, ensuring that board decisions are informed by those with lived experience.
