Christie is a creative individual with passions across multiple artistic fields. From a young age, she recognised how race and ethnicity shaped the way she was perceived, and she noticed the lack of role models from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds in her industry.
These experiences inspired her to keep pursuing her goals and to become a role model for others, encouraging them to express themselves creatively with confidence.
Christie originally joined the Youth Action Network in 2024 as one of its first six members. Now, with the Network growing to 16 members and becoming an independent platform, she returns to continue championing race equality as part of this expanded community.
