RENPOWERMENT is a life and success coaching business which supports women in navigating difficult life situations by building confidence and empowering them.
Reneika applied to the Inclusive Entrepreneurship Programme as she thought reflected what she needed as an entrepreneur at the start of her journey by offering both financial and business support.
The one-to-one consultancy was especially beneficial to her business as, despite having been on business courses before, it really helped her to develop a detailed business plan. As soon as she started the sessions, she realised her inaccuracies in calculating her financials and, with the help of the expert consultant, was able to recalculate and see how her business can grow within the first few years more realistically. The consultant also helped her generate ideas and other services her business could provide to develop more streams on income.
She spent the grant on her website, board memberships, insurance, masterclasses, educational courses and qualifications to help her stand out in the market, none of which she would have been able to do without the funding provided on this programme.
Reneika also really valued presenting an Action Learning Set on ‘maintaining professionalism when engaging with an audience’ as she was forced to come up with solutions to her challenges that she would be able to apply to her business and found it to be “like market research in a safe environment.”
