PR & Communications Apprentice
William@actionforraceequality.org.uk
William is Action for Race Equality’s first PR and Communications Apprentice and is currently completing a professional apprenticeship with PA Media Academy alongside his role.
With a background in Journalism, William applies his skills across press, digital content and communications to support underrepresented ethnic minority communities and organisations to strengthen visibility, influence and access to opportunity.
Before joining ARE, William wrote for The River, a student-led publication, where he collaborated with contributors from diverse backgrounds to spotlight issues often overlooked by mainstream media. His work focused on Black history, cultural events and student issues across the campus.
At ARE, William is continuing to develop his PR and communications practice while contributing to work that supports racial justice and community empowerment.
