Nasrin is the Policy & Communications Officer for the Windrush Justice Programme, which supports grassroots groups and organisations by providing advocacy, grants, organisational development and assistance to those affected by the Windrush Scandal and their families so they can access compensation and prove their settled status or right of abode.
Nasrin is an experienced policy officer, writer, researcher and community organiser, with a background in interdisciplinary global area studies and transnational collective action. She has worked at human rights organisations, particularly on migrant justice, access to justice, anti-deportation, anti-detention, anti-racism, political education, abolition & transformative justice. Nasrin holds a MSc in African Studies from the University of Oxford and a BA Honours degree in Arabic & History from the SOAS University of London, with a language year at An-Najah National University in Palestine.
