ARE selected as charity partner for inclusive recruiters Trinnovo Group

Action for Race Equality is thrilled to announce a brand new partnership with Trinnovo Group, a community-led recruitment and advisory business specialising in technology, innovation, enablement, and security.

ARE was chosen for our remarkable efforts empowering young people and our work to advance race equality. By joining forces, we hope to amplify our collective impact and achieve even greater success together.

Jeremy Crook, Chief Executive of ARE said:

“ARE is pleased to have been selected by Trinnovo Group as a charity partner for our work championing race equality. Our activities rely on the cooperation and collaboration of a diverse array of stakeholders, including employers and corporate leaders. With the exposure that Trinnovo Group and other organisations give to Black-led charities like us, we can better advance our shared mission to address employment disparities impacting young Black, Asian and minority ethnic people in the UK. We look forward to  building on the changes Trinnovo is making to workplace inclusion, and inspiring other employers to make a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.”

ARE joins existing charity partners at Trinnovo: Micro Rainbow, a charity dedicated to supporting LGBTQIA+ refugees in securing housing and a better future; and Street League, who are empowering underrepresented youth by introducing them to diverse career opportunities through sports.

Trinnovo Group said:

“We are delighted to welcome Action for Race Equality as our new community partner, whose resolute dedication to ending racial inequality mirrors our own mission: to build diversity, create inclusion, and encourage workplace innovation. Value-aligned partnerships are instrumental in our ability to continue providing community-led, diversity-focused employment solutions for underserved candidate demographics. We’re proud to join forces with the ARE team, and we look forward to growing alongside each other as we extend our positive impact into the communities we serve.”

The ARE team and Trustees look forward to working with Trinnovo to help reach our mutual goals to end systemic discrimination impacting the most marginalised communities in the UK.

“We selected ARE as a charity partner because of the work they do to help kids and young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds go to university and help to increase their employability. As someone who had a lot of ‘firsts’ (First to got to university in from my father’s family, first to apply for student finance, first to apply for internships), I know how helpful it is having someone who can give you advice and aid. I am very keen to give back and support the younger generation as they make their way to university and apply for their first jobs and the work that action for race equality already does will allows me to accomplish that.” – Irfaan Choychoo, Recruitment Consultant

“Choosing ARE as a Charity Partner was not a difficult choice at all! Their mission and values strongly aligned with both my personal and professional values. As someone who has come from a low socio-economic class and ethnic background myself, I am passionate about ensuring everyone, regardless of background, has equal opportunities to truly succeed and be their best self! The work ARE have done and continue to do, makes such an impact, and I’m genuinely so happy there are charities like ARE who are making a change.” – Zaynab Khan, Senior Recruitment Consultant – DACH
