new Race Equity in Employment Task ForcE launched
ARE has joined together with Business in the Community and a group of sector experts, business leaders and academics to influence the government to take action to increase employment opportunities for young people aged 16-24 from Black, Asian and Mixed Heritage backgrounds.
ARE champions fairness, challenges race discrimination and pioneers innovative solutions to empower young people through education, employment and enterprise.

Supporting local talent
We’re working with Islington Council to support underrepresented entrepreneurs through training and grant funding.
Improving employment
ARE works with a dedicated cohort of employers committed to doing more for Black, Asian and Mixed heritage jobseekers and employees.
Through our Positive Action Network and our Graduate Connector Programme, we’re making employment fairer for all our talented young people.
