Nola is a staunch advocate for equity within underrepresented, racialised, and criminalised communities. As a freelance research associate at
the Design Against Crime Lab, University of Arts London, she brings expertise in social justice, the Black queer diaspora, critical intersectional feminism, and decolonised methodologies. She hosts the Beyond The Lens podcast, illuminating issues that impact the Black British Diaspora. With over a decade of programme management experience in the voluntary sector, Nola also sits on the board of Clean Break, championing national social policy changes to build a more equitable society.
