Emma Stephen

With a background in education, Emma has taught English in secondary schools and led whole-school initiatives on wellbeing, pastoral care, and student voice. She has also developed and delivered various access and outreach programmes to support underrepresented young people on their journey into higher education.

Her expertise extends to implementing institution-wide Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion strategies, with a focus on fostering a sense of belonging and embracing intersectionality. A strong advocate for ensuring everyone has equal opportunities to thrive, she is dedicated to amplifying the voices of minoritised communities and strives to address discrimination through collaborative, supportive action.
