Chosen project ideas have helped to empower young people by giving them various job roles to execute the project.
As well as developing various skills including presentation, increased communication and social skills; projects have also helped with developing community cohesion by reaching out to young people within the local community.
Guided by R2S volunteer role models with expertise in the chosen project field, the teams follow a project development process; using our six step ‘Local Project Handbook’. The role models provide ongoing support and advice throughout the whole project development process.
