Self-employed consultant, director, trustee
Laura studied at a comprehensive secondary school in Stockport and a sixth form college, completing GCSEs and A levels. She then went to Oxford University to study law and started working at a large commercial law firm in 2004, training for two years, before qualifying as a lawyer in 2006. She is now a partner in her own consultancy business, advising clients on a range of cultural and diversity associated strategies and issues, as well as the CEO of The Black Talent Charter, a new programme to significantly increase Black representation in British business.
Laura is also a trustee of ARE.
