This is a unique moment to work with Action for Race Equality as we look to improve the employment outcomes of young ethnic minority people in the country. We want young people and their voices to be embedded across our programmes, and shape the work we do.

Moving on Up Ambassadors
Ambassadors are a core group on our Moving on Up programme. This is a positive action initiative, working with leading employers and other partners to address the troubling unemployment rates of young Black men in London.
Open to: Young Black men, aged 16 – 24 in London.

Youth Panel Members
Youth Panel members play a key role in shaping our Building Ethnic Diversity in the Youth Employability Sector programme. This aims to improve the employability services offered to young people from ethnic minority backgrounds.
Open to: Young people from Black, Asian and Mixed ethnic backgrounds, aged 16-24 in England.
Applications close: Friday 30th June at 11.59 pm
No experience is necessary for either of the roles, but we expect those who are applying to be willing to work with others, able to input their thoughts when asked for feedback, and contribute to discussions and meetings. Successful applicants will have ideas and a passion to improve the lives of young Black, Asian, Mixed and minority ethnic people across the country.
As a young person at ARE, you’ll get the chance to have your voice heard on important employment issues; take part in competitions to win prizes such as vouchers; meet with and learn from ARE’s wider team; access subscriptions and one-to-one LinkedIn profile building support, and much more.
